Question on renaming a node

Post Question on renaming a node
Dear all,

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure how to describe the problem with a few
words, so I'll tell what was done and what happend:

user A uses an old PC running Windows98 (call it PC-A) and a TSM-Client
(with nodename PC-AA).
user B uses a newer PC running WindowsXP (call it PC-B) and a TSM-Client
(nodename PC-BB)

user B gets some new hardware and gives the old one (PC-B) to user A.
user A reconfigures TSM to the nodename PC-AA.

now user A can restore some data of the former PC-AA (but not all!) and
some data of the former PC-BB (worriing about it).

uninstalling and newly installing the client does not solve the problem.
neither using tools to clean-up the windows registry, nor deleting the
whole "C:/program files/Tivoli"-folder.

perhaps, he can reinstall the whole windows-stuff which should solve the
problem.
but, isn't it a security lack that user A can restore data of user B?

Any ideas how to make the PC getting only the data of the assigned
TSM-Node?
Any idea where TSM may store some config files or which keywords may be
used inside the registry beside Tivoli, tivoli, tsm, TSM?

Any solution besides complete reinstall?

thanks,

Bjørn

Use the 'update node' command to change the PC-BB password stored in
the TSM database and send the new password to user B but not to user
A.=
