Saving a particular sql backup
Author Message
Post Saving a particular sql backup
My dba wants to save a particular sqlserver full backup from twoweeks ago. Short of doing a restore to another server, is there a way within tsm to save a single full?
Maybe a backupset or something similar?

A backupset would be the 1st thing that crossed my mind - though you may be
stuck if it's a backup done with a TDP, as I don't think they are supprted
for backupsets.

Failing that another option would be to rename the node and start again,
though the useability of that can depend on the node occupancy.

Maybe an "export node" with the fromd and todate options specified?

Thanks all for the help.
Went the easy route, and renamed the node then recreated original node to start from scratch.
