Hi,

I have 2 TSM Servers, one is Configuration Manager= "TITAN", and the another one is the managed server= "Hydra".

I share the domain "PD-SP" created on Titan with Hydra, and all the sync was working perfectly, until we lost the configuration of "hydra" and the status of "Managed server" turned to "Not Managed", we restabilished the sync but now everything that I create for example a new "Management Class" on PD-SP and try to sync with "notify subsc.." are not syncronizating, it seems that the TSM is considering that there is a objetc PD-SP on Hydra, and are not letting to overwrite...

Just for a test, if I create another domain, for example: "PD-Adicional", and sync it to hydra, it works perfectly.

So anyone had this problem, anyone knows how to restabilishe the sync for my domain "PD-SP"???

On the log bellow, i simulate creating a MGM class called: "POLITICA_TESTE" on PD-SP, and trying to sync, and the return that it cannot update de PD-SP.

As far as I know, if there is a node assigned to a domain on the managed server, you can't update the domain on the cfg manager and use "notify subscriber" to update it on the managed server.

The reason that your domain "PD-Adicional" works is because tou don't have any nodes assigned to it, right?

I normally use "export policy" to push out domain-type changes to the managed server.

If you really want to use a profile to push domain changes, I've used a temporary domain on the managed server with all the retentions set to "nolimit". Assign all of the nodes in the domain you want to update to the temporary "nolimit" domain, update the "real" domain using "notify subscriber", and reassign the nodes to the domain you just updated.

A pain in the neck.

Much easier to use "export policy".
