VCB Integration backup with TSM ??
After the snapshot finishes on the ESX server, the .vmdk files are copied to
your local system. If you're doing this using the LAN protocol then it's
going to take as long as it takes to copy 9G across your network.
However, vcbmounter only copies the used blocks out of your 9G VM guest
store, so figure used space rather than LUN size.

Subject: [ADSM-L] VCB Integration backup with TSM ??
Hi,
Have somebody here ever experience doing backup online using VMWare
Consolidated Backup. I'm using 1 GB memory on computer where VCB Module is
installed. The Snapshoot process take 1 hour for 9GB ( pre-command
job1 -FullVM ). My question is, what makes this snapshooting faster ? or is
it that long ?
Best Regards,
