Backup Central

Hello,

I saw that dsmc has a "dsmc backup was" command. (Platform is AIX.)
As I have read, the TDP for Application Server's last version is 5.2.
Is this backup method built in to the backup-archive clients?

When I try to run a "dsmc backup was xxx" command, it says:
ANS9054E The plug-in was not found.

Should something to be installed over the B/A client to use this function?
(I did not see any TSM plugins earlier, the TDP products are providing the
separate backup functions.)

I would like to ask, does anyone have expirence with that backup method?
If this works, what kind of files can be backup up with it? (custom things
in the websphere: client jars, jdbc providers - are these backed up?), or
does it run only a websphere backupConfig in the background?

This really does not includes any was plugin. Are there some plugins
available to the B/A clients? I have never been seen any "plugins" to TSM
products. Is it maybe the part of any TDP? Or after the TDP for
Application Servers is not countinued, this is would be some kind of
replacement of it? Does anyone use this, or do you backup WAS servers
(after backupConfig or other) file-level?

Your TDP manual describes the plug-in, and use of 'dsmc show plugins' to verify that the installation was complete.
