64 bits OS on 32 hardware?
Should go for the 16 bit ITSM client.

You must be mistaken. You cannot run 64-bit executables on a 32-bit OS.
Please double-check this and repost your question.

Thanks,

Del,

he's actually claiming that the HW is 32 bit, and both the OS and the
mssql are 64 bit. This can't be true either.

Pambos,

you're running 64-bit all the way, so you'll need 64 bit tdp. Really
your cpu is 64 bit if your windows is 64 bit. Probably some xeon or
other intel cpu of recent?

Thanks,

Del

Or, he got the 32 and 64 swapped. In other words, 64 bit hardware
running 32 bit OS, I've seen that a lot (we do it here) and I'd imagine
all the 32 bit TSM clients / TDPs would work at 32bit level to match the
OS.

See Ya'

Post What version of TDP for MS SQL 2005 should use.
Hi Remco,
It is very easy solve the issue.

If you are using 64-Bits Windows and 64-Bits SQL then are you going to use 64-Bit TDP and 64-Bits TSM BA Client

If you are using 32-Bits Windows with 32-Bits SQL then are you going to use 32-bit TDP and 32-Bit TSM BA Client.

If you are using 64-Bits Windows and 32-bits SQL then are you going to use 32-Bit TDP and 64-Bits TSM BA Client. But you need to make sure you install 32-Bits API also.

You can never run 64-Bits SQL with 32-Bits Windows.
And you can never run 64-Bits Apps and OS on a 32-Bits CPU.
But you can run 32-bits Apps and OS on a 64-Bits CPU
