Backup Central

I am still working on my 3-way NDMP problem. If I back up a NAS Volume
that fits on one tape, it works, if it expands beyond one volume, it
doesn't use the correct number of tapes. I wish I could be more clear,
but all I can say is I am using LTO-4 drives and tapes and backing up
four and a half terabytes. The last full I did on this volume was
using LTO-3 and it used 8 tapes. The failed dump used 3.

Hi Greg,

It is going to be very difficult to help you on this one without seeing what NetVault is reporting in the logs. It is probably best to report this to BakBone support and perhaps come back to share the results with the forum so that we may all be edified.

You could also generate a binary log and upload somewhere like rapidshare. Send the link and specifiy the Job ID so that we can have a look and see whether we may suggest one or two things.
