The rdiff-backup polls has been running for about 2 weeks, and 88
people voted. That's probably enough to close it and discuss the
results:

Which aspect of rdiff-backup would you most like improved?
-------
29% Repository editing (removing files/directories, rebuild index)
21% Repository monitoring (track space used, email on failure, etc.)
18% User-friendliness (installation, documentation, error messages, etc.)
17% Other Feature: (spare files, detect moves, preserve atimes, etc.)
9% General speed
4% Disk Usage

Aside from the above, what else about rdiff-backup would you like improved?
-------
25% Repository editing (removing files/directories, rebuild index)
23% Repository monitoring (track space used, email on failure, etc.)
19% User-friendliness (installation, documentation, error messages, etc.)
16% Other Feature: (spare files, detect moves, preserve atimes, etc.)
13% General speed
2% Disk Usage

How buggy do you find rdiff-backup?
------
57% Found a few, but nothing serious
36% Bugfree
5% Very buggy

Basically, the first choice is the ability to edit a backup
repository. The second is better monitoring. Editing seems to be the
major concern, since besides being first, monitoring may have just
gotten better anyway (with the rdiff-backup-statistics script in
1.1.5, and the nagios plugin by David Kempe and Christian Marie).
I'll post a message about that next.
