Help with rdiff-backup and cron

Post Help with rdiff-backup and cron
I am having trouble getting rdiff-backup to run as a cron job.

I'm not sure if I need to change the format of my cron command. The
command shown works fine from the command line.

Here is my cron entry:

# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - edit the master and reinstall.
# (/tmp/crontab.17874 installed on Wed Jan 28 17:56:25 2004)
# (Cron version -- $Id: crontab.c,v 2.13 1994/01/17 03:20:37 vixie Exp
$)
0 0 * * * rdiff-backup -v6
--exclude-filelist /home/backup/domain/include_files
root < at > 206.39.18.176::/ /home/backup/domain/backup

I checked the log file for cron and found this:

Jan 28 18:00:00 localhost CROND[17880]: (root) CMD (rdiff-backup -v6
--exclude-filelist /home/backup/domain/include_files
root < at > 206.39.18.176::/ /home/backup/domain/backup)

I am unfamiliar with cron errors but that doesn't look like one to me.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks.

Is rdiff-backup in the PATH when cron runs? Did you try putting the
full path to the rdiff-backup executable?

Do you get any mail when the cronjob runs? (Is cron running? Smile
