rdiff-backup --list-changed-since 1D <dest directory> lists what files
have been changed the last 24 hours in the destination directory, if I
read the manual page correctly.
Is there a way to have rdiff-backup compare what has been changed
since the last backup on a specific filesystem? If I take a backup at
03 in the morning and want to know what files have changed on that
filesystem since the backup at some later time, can I find that
information without making a new backup?
No, there was no way, but you're right that this would seem to be a
very useful feature. Not sure why it isn't requested more often.
Anyway, the CVS version now accepts --compare and --compare-at-time
switches, which should do what you want.
