Hi,
I try to use rdiff between my laptop linux Debian and a FreeBSD 4.9.
As you can see, there is a difference between both version ... Do you
think that it can be the causal of my problem ?
<------------------------>
bash-2.05a$ rdiff-backup --test-server tst < at > stock::~tst/maelenn_backup
Warning: Local version 0.13.3 does not match remote version 0.12.7.
Testing server started by: ssh -C tst < at > stock rdiff-backup --server
Server may work, but there is a version mismatch:
Local version: 0.13.3
Remote version: 0.12.7
<----------------------->
File
"/usr/local/lib/python2.3/site-packages/rdiff_backup/connection.py",
line 225, in _get
raise ConnectionReadError("Truncated header string (problem "
rdiff_backup.connection.ConnectionReadError: Truncated header string
(problem probably originated remotely)
Thx
