I started backing up my system to a local directory and later this directory
was remounted with "nosuid, nodev, noexec". Everything is fine though, except
for this
..
What is this? Do I need to worry?

For some reason socket file names can't be as long as normal file names.
See http://www.nongnu.org/rdiff-backup/error_policy.html for what a
SpecialFileError is. You probably don't need to worry.
