Post -- rdiff-backup abandoned? rdiff-backup crash
I've been on this list for at least a month and so far have never seen
any helpful
responses or plans for bug fixes beyond the faq/wiki help. Is this
project abandoned?
Are there any developers out there or should I look for a more supported
project?
Thanks!
jeff

I have this exact problem as well and reported it to the list on 5/20:

I have not had any success troubleshooting the problem.

I am in the process of switching to dirvish, http://www.pegasys.ws/dirvish/,
because of this. Though if anybody has new information or suggestions, I
would be glad to hear it.

Subject: [rdiff-backup-users] rdiff-backup crash

Hi,

I've been running rdiff-backup (ver. 13.4) reliably for quite some time but
now consistently get the following crash when trying to backup up a
particular machine (see below). Has anyone any ideas?

Thanks
Dave Hawkes

Ben (the developer) is busy for a few months, but has in the past been
incredibly supportive and helpful. I don't think the project is dead,
but input from the (only, as far as I know) developer is missing at the
moment.
