rdiff-backup on Slackware 9.1

Post rdiff-backup on Slackware 9.1
I have recently installed rdiff-backup v0.12.6 on a slackware 9.1 box. I
have also installed the required Python v2.3 and librsync v0.9.6. When
I run a simple backup I receive the following message;

root < at > mofun:~# rdiff-backup /tmp/slackupdate/ /tmp/backup/

Does anyone know how I can solve this issue?

Josh
