I have also gotten this error on Library/, but not when backing up
Library/ by itself, only when it is part of a larger directory being
backed up. The command line I have used is (to backup the folder

Interesting.. (These KeyErrors have to be my least favorite bugs.)
Any ideas why that directory in particular is causing trouble? And
are you getting recoverable errors (like UpdateErrors) before that?

Nevermind, I was able to replicate the problem. It seems to happen
(on directories?) sometimes when incrementing over a network.
