Post simultaneous rdiff-backup sessions
Aloha,
Thanks to all those who help to make rdiff-backup great!

I recall seeing a note suggesting that it was not a good idea to do
simultaneous rdiff-backups on the same machine, but cannot re-locate it.

Is there any reason that I cannot run multiple backups at the same time,
as long as there is no directory clash?

Thankyou,
bob

as long as you aren't writing to the same directorys (same
rdiff-backup-data dir) then you should be fine.
ie, you need a one to one repository ratio.

There may be some upper limit, but we haven't reached it yet - we run
lots of simultaneous rdiff-backup sessions into the one box
