I'm backing up a large maildir with rdiff-backup, and for some files
it always gives the following error:
UpdateError imap < at > localhost/Maildir/.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/cur/1267947798.M180827P32475.xxxxxxx,W=279180:2,ST Updated mirror temp file /pub/backup/pub/mail/imap < at > localhost/Maildir/.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/cur/rdiff-backup.tmp.287 does not match source
I have verified with some of the problematic files that they don't
change while rdiff-backup is being run (given that this is a maildir,
they should never change at all). Other files in the same directory
are backed up without problems. It's always the same files that give
this error.
Any ideas what's causing this, and how to fix/work around the problem?
Both the local and remote systems are running Gentoo Linux (kernel
2.6.32-gentoo-r2 x86 on remote system, 2.6.32-gentoo-r3 amd64 on
local), Python 2.6.4, librsync 0.9.7, rdiff-backup 1.2.8.
