What to do when the ssh connection goes down?

Post What to do when the ssh connection goes down?
Hello,

I don't recall reading or hearing anything about this.

Are there any ramifications and/or what steps are there to take when an
rdiff-backup fails in the middle of it's run when the network connection goes
down in the middle?

Is there any cleanup to perform?

Regards,
Blair

Next time you run rdiff-backup, it will detect that the last backup
session failed and clean up. Note: Cleanup may take a long time if you
back up a lot of data.

You can initiate the clean-up manually, if you wish. Have a look at the
"--check-destination-dir" option.
