Post win32, multiple drive source , how to? cygdrive ?
Hello everybody,

I would like to set up a single rdiff-backup instance that backups 2
sources on two different drives (windows).

Example, using C:\myshare1 and D:\myshare2 as an include statement.

With dar (Disk Archiver), dar.exe is linked to cygwin/cygdrive dll which
allows me to use /cygdrive/c/ and /cygdrive/d/ as the source, so my
include/exclude statement is pretty easy to define. I defined as source
: '/', exclude : '**' and include : '/cygdrive/c/myshare1/,
/cygdrive/d/myshare2/' and everything works correctly.

Can I use a similar scenario with rdiff-backup ?

Thank you,

I don't think you can do that with rdiff-backup for Windows/win32. Try
making two backups to different destinations. It will probably work better
in the long run anyway. Or install rdiff-backup using cygwin python.

Cheers, Chris.
