Now that this incident calls attention to the issue, I would prefer to
leave anonymous commenting disabled for the reasons stated in the admin
interface: this will forestall any future spam, and it is useful to
everyone to know (at least pseudonymously) who posted a comment. Does
anyone object?
Sourceforge allows one to login with any OpenID (Wordpress,
Livejournal, Google, Yahoo, ...) so I am not sure this is a serious
problem, but whenever I try to login with my ID I get "Your
registration violated our antispam filter" yet it seems to have logged
me in anyway. Does this work OK for anyone who uses their own domain?
If not, it seems like a bad idea to disable commenting-without-login
until sourceforge fix their account management system!
