Hello,
I have just posted a tutorial titled, "Backing Up Multiple Servers
with Rsnapshot". It talks about a multi-host backup configuration, with
a unique .conf file for each host:

You are invited to read the article and provide feedback. If you
have any useful tips or tricks to add, I would be happy to update the
article in an Open Source fashion, so it serves are more useful
Rsnapshot documentation on the web.

Thank You,
Derek Simkowiak

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.

I had a short look on it and it seems there are some very useful hints
in there I could use for my rsnapshot package for eisfair¹ – however it
will take some time for me to implement this, so maybe you could get
more feedback later from me. Thanks however anyway for this article, I'm
sure it will help me.
