Hello all,
I'm sure this is covered somewhere, but I can't
seem to find it. I
want to copy my rsnapshots directory from one

I can't seem to find out how to do that.
Can anyone comment on this?
You don't say what sort of connectivity exists
between the 2, but
you've got a range of choices, not least of which is
to use rsnapshot
itself :-)

I saw in a previous thread that it wasn't possible yet
with rsnapshot to have the backups on a remote
machine. Not sure if that is what you're wanting to
do.
However, if you want to backup a remote server to your
local harddrive (where rsnapshot is running)...just
add this to rsnapshot.conf
backup root < at > server.com:/etc/ server.com/
This would copy /etc from server.com and place it in
locally at
/path/to/backups/.snapshot/daily.0/server.com/etc
