Hi Adriaan,
If you need the feature right now, you can just modify the perl code
directly. It should be in the gnu_cp_al() subroutine or somewhere in
that neighborhood. I'm assuming you're using GNU cp, otherwise you might
just want to nice rsnapshot directly.
I'm hoping to modify/extend the config file syntax in the future, which
will allow a lot more options to be added to rsnapshot. This seems like
it would be a good one :)

Hi,
I noticed that the cp command, invoked by rsnapshot uses all available
cpu time, which makes the system almost unusable. This happens during
the 'cp -al' command which is, imho, not time-critical. Is it possible
to 'nice' cp to a lower priority? Or should I change the perl code for
that?
Thanks,
Adriaan Peeters
