I have just installed a new NAS and ran my first backup on clean disk one night ago and that ran fin.. But the second run, produced the following
warning and errors in the log..:
Many of these warnings..:
[19/Aug/2011:04:00:02] WARNING: Could not lchown() symlink "/mnt/nas/pennywise/snapshots/daily.1/etc/ssl/certs/signet_rootca_pem.pem"
[19/Aug/2011:04:00:02] WARNING: Could not lchown() symlink "/mnt/nas/pennywise/snapshots/daily.1/etc/ssl/certs/Buypass_Class_2_CA_1.pem"
[19/Aug/2011:04:00:02] WARNING: Could not lchown() symlink
"/mnt/nas/pennywise/snapshots/daily.1/etc/ssl/certs/Verisign_Class_3_Public_Primary_Certification_Authority_-_G3.pem"
And this error:
[19/Aug/2011:04:06:37] /usr/bin/rsnapshot daily: ERROR: Warning! Could not link("/mnt/nas/pennywise/snapshots/daily.0/home/bjorntj/Hints/PostgreSQL",
"/mnt/nas/pennywise/snapshots/daily.1/home/bjorntj/Hints/PostgreSQL") : File exists
Is this something that should worry me? Also why is it happening and is there something I need to change, config og mount options or?
btw, I am using NFS mount for the NAS box...
Regards,
BTJ
