Wait, is it already backing up sockets? AFAIK, you'd need to pass
--specials or -D (which implies --specials) to rsync to get it to
backup sockets or fifos. Check your rsync options.

Hallo, Scott,

Du meintest am 02.06.11:

Wait, is it already backing up sockets?

Yes - it does. At least 2 socket entries in one application. Maybe the
sockets have always the size 0 (I haven't tested them), but I don't
know.

AFAIK, you'd need to pass
--specials or -D (which implies --specials) to rsync to get it to

That looks like the rsnapshot option "one_fs": the mount points are
copied, but not the contents of the mountet partitions.
