Hey,
I'm using rsnapshot for backup of my desktop and server. For both I have
directories to exclude from the backup but different ones. I'll make an
example:
I want to exclude "/dir1" and "/dir2" from the server backups and
"/dir3" from the desktop backups. I specify those with the
"exclude"-setting. Now what happens is that rsnapshot excludes "/dir1",
"/dir2" and "/dir3" from both my server and desktop. Luckily up to now
"/dir1" and "/dir2" didn't exist on the desktop and "/dir3" didn't exist
on the server. But what happens, wenn there is a "/dir3" on the server
that I want to backup?
So my question is: How can I specify exclude rules on a per-host or
per-backup-command basis?
