I'm trying to configure logrotate to rotate the rsnapshot log file.

Do these look like reasonable settings to add to /etc/logrotate.d ?

/var/log/rsnapshot {
weekly
rotate 5
copytruncate
compress
notifempty
missingok
}

This is for Fedora 5.

Being a minimalist, I have been successfully using the following for
quite a while.

/var/log/rsnapshot {
monthly
create 0664 root root
}

My defaults in logrotate.conf are:
weekly
rotate 4
create
notifempty
nomail
noolddir

My monthly log files are typically on the order of 8Mb each, so I don't
see a good reason to compress them. YMMV.

John
