Thanks! I'll wait and see if rsnapshot daily works as I have it
scheduled at 2:00 am everyday. I'll report my findings later.
What I can't understand is why "rsnapshot -t hourly" showed invocation
of the cmd_preexec script explicitly while "rsnapshot -t daily" (or for
that matter weekly and monthly) doesn't.
