rsnapshot and lftp
Author Message
Post rsnapshot and lftp
ive got rsnapshot keeping a series of local backups , but havent got
rsync , but have got ftp , access to my remote offsite backup server,

lftp seems to copy all the hourly.1, hourly.2 local backups remotely ,
and it seems and is a very inefficient way of doing things.

Is there a way i can use the lftp mv in the script ( ie rename) on the
remote directory structure so that i only need to copy across the most
recent snapshot ?

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
