Post rsnapshot daily not sending e-mail notif
Hi,
I've been trying to come up to speed with a pre-existing rsnapshot
setup, and things appear to be working except for these minor details:

- It's been about two months since I got an e-mail notification from
rsnapshot's cron job that rsnapshot Daily is completed. Weekly and
Monthly notifications work fine. (Before that we were getting errors
for a long time due to one server's incorrect version/location of rsync,
but this appears to be resolved)

-This is the current error, set to level 4 verbosity logging:

[22/May/2007:01:28:42] /bin/logger -i -p user.err -t rsnapshot WARNING:
Some files and/or directories in root < at > servername:/. vanished during
rsync operation (lots of these)
[22/May/2007:04:14:41] rm -f /var/run/rsnapshot.pid
[22/May/2007:04:14:41] /bin/logger -i -p user.err -t rsnapshot WARNING:
/usr/local/bin/rsnapshot daily: completed, but with some warnings
[22/May/2007:04:14:41] WARNING: /usr/local/bin/rsnapshot daily:
completed, but with some warnings

Cron is running:
30 23 * * 1-6 /usr/local/bin/rsnapshot daily
15 23 * * 0 /usr/local/bin/rsnapshot weekly

Any suggestions? I'm also going to crank up log verbosity to level 5
debug...
Thank you.

Hallo, Mark,

Du (msallee) meintest am 22.05.07:

[22/May/2007:01:28:42] /bin/logger -i -p user.err -t rsnapshot
WARNING: Some files and/or directories in root < at > servername:/. vanished
during rsync operation (lots of these)

Sounds like temporary files and/or log files.

Viele Gruesse!
Helmut
