Interesting...

I wonder if rsnapshot should automatically strip slashes off source
paths. I like the simple rule of "every directory has a trailing slash"
in the config file, it makes it easier to remember what to do.

I'll have to see if this is a viable thing to do.

Ideally rsnapshot takes care of a lot of this kind of stuff for you,
otherwise you could always just code your own shell scripts. :)

It seems like this is a know bug with rsync:

From what I understand, I should remove the trailing slash on the source
paths to avoid the error...
