Backup Central

Hi,
 
All backup on a particular media server is failing with error (11) system call failed .
media server  - Solaris 10 box NBU 6.5.6
 
Below are the detail logs :
 
Oct 7, 2011 11:00:06 PM - started process bpbrm (pid=10551)
Oct 7, 2011 11:00:09 PM - Error bpbrm (pid=10551) bpcd on bobcat exited with status 59: access to the client was not allowed
Oct 7, 2011 11:00:10 PM - Critical bpbrm (pid=10551) could not set non-blocking I/O on media socket, Bad file number (9)
Oct 7, 2011 11:00:10 PM - end writing
system call failed  (11)
 
I have checked below things :
 
- Restarted NBU
- checked file system size (OK)
- checked /var/adm/messages , no erorrs/warming
- media server still seems to be coming nbemmcmd -listhost
 
can somebody please help me with this?

Hi Sachin,

The error is here:

Oct 7, 2011 11:00:09 PM - Error bpbrm (pid=10551) bpcd on bobcat exited with
status 59: access to the client was not allowed

Make sure the master + media servers are listed in the client's bp.conf
file AND that forward + reverse is correct for the master, media and
client.

Please paste the part of bprd and bpdbm messages from the master and bpbrm on the media server.
