A presentation at Veritas Vision 2004 mentioned the two tunables below,
useful for tuning disk storage unit performance, similar to their bptm
counterparts.
SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS_DISK
NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS_DISK
However, doing a 'strings' on bpdm suggests that these tunables aren't
present on HP-UX (have checked all the way to 5.0mp4).
NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS_DISK seems to make an appearance in some versions of
bpdm (Solaris 5.0MP3 certainly has it).
Anyone have any info they can contribute (eg what platforms/versions the
tunables become present) ?
