I just got an email from HP and they have stated the a bios update is in
order. So you are right. It looks like a motherboard related issue.

Hello Darby
Many Many moons ago,=20
We had seen that with win2000 and exchange 2000 and dell 2550's.
It was fixed with mother board upgrades.=20

Has anyone encountered the problem?
I have a problem with hp servers running win2003 and exchange
2000 rebooting during a backup.
I have netbackup 4.5 MP5 on windows 2000.
Has anyone seen this?
