E3530 failed to login to database EC=-2005

I use Brightstor ArcServe (version 11.5.1.0). I continue to get "[b]E3530 failed to login to database EC=-2005[/b]" when trying to run my nightly backups. Along with this error message I notice that my database engine is always turning itself off (shows up as a red dot) while my job and tape engine stay on. Why does the database engine continue to turn itself off?

this is a database corruption issue.

Please follow the link posted below and it will resolve the problem..

by doing this the session information will be lost.

dont worry about that, jus have to merge the tapes back and the session iformation will be displayed.
