HP Data Protector SAN EMC DMX Symmetrix, Clariion - Finance/Banking Contract

Experienced HP Data Protector backup specialist required to undertake essential version upgrade, v.5.5 to v.6.11, for leading financial organisation across three EU sites.

Working closely with on-site Architects and Analysts you will develop the design and implementation strategy for the solution, before the build, test and implementation phases. These phases may be conducted in association with external Professional Services organisations.

In addition to a high level understanding of disk sub-systems, you will need to have a competent background in high-end SAN technology, particularly EMC Clariion and DMX Symmetrix disk arrays to build test environments.

You will also ensure requirements deliverables are produced using the approved templates and are compliant with specified methodology.

You will play a large part in Detailed Design, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Reports, Testing to Production Support, Installed & Configured solution, Operational Procedures, and Warranty support.
