restore file from ndmp backup with another library doesn't w

We have a netapp with a fibre attached msl 4048 library.

I have a ndmp backup of a volume (cif with files on it) that is backuped to tape.

I can restore a single file to the same or another location with no problem

Here's the problem.

On another site we have the same setup with netapp and library in the same data protector cell.

When i want to restore a file from that tape it keeps saying the following.

I have the same problem here also:
hp dataprotector 6.20 / netapp with ontap 8.1.1 / HP MSL 6000

While looking for a solution found your post, hopefuly someone smarter then me will answer soon.
So far one solution would be not to use DAR, by setting
- the restore session > Options > Advanced > Variable Name "DIRECT" / Value "N"
but this is way too slow ... for one single file it will read all the tapes used for the backup, in case you want to restore, lets say, a whole volume its worth to try.
