What is desktop lockdown software?
This is a pretty basic question. But anyways...Helps you maintain your computer. No one gets in. Nothing gets out. Problems can suppossedly be solved by taking pics of the system state. Firewalling is important. Databackup, data recovery, data restore, and data protection are terms people will use often to sound erudte.
Desktop lock down is the practice of restricting access to desktop pcs. Prferrably in a business environment. They usually will behave as a part of the network. Only the admin will be allowed entry into the system. USB access will be denied or restricted as per philosophy. The lock down plan will also include data backup, data restore, and data recovery plans.
