We have a logo!

In case you haven’t noticed, we finally have a real logo!  Thanks to the folks at designcrowd.com for running the logo contest (99 logos were submitted from all over the world!), and thanks to those who helped me decide on the logo by voting.

You may notice that the logo I selected was not one of the ones you voted on.  Uh, yeah…

A good friend of mine, James Brissendon, is very good at pointing out things that logos say that you don’t want them to say.  Without going into details, he pointed out that the logo that was winning was implying something I didn’t want to imply. I then looked at the other logos that I had and found one that was similar to the winning design, with some improvements.  Then I consulted my usual “design team” (thanks Robin) and she concurred.  And there we have it!  The new logo.

Hope you like it.  I actually paid for this one. 😉

BTW. for your perfectionists out there, I know it should be a transparent gif/png.  I’m working on it.  But I just couldn’t stand another day with that stupid “N” up there.
